About Ken

Born in Calgary on December 18, 1975, Ken Staples grew up in the nearby town of Airdrie from 1980 to 1995. He returned to Calgary, where he has lived ever since.

Ken has a well-rounded work background with experience in various customer service and retail positions. Since 2018, he has been working at Amazon, demonstrating his commitment to a fast-paced environment. Prior to that, he held positions at several Calgary institutions, including Dairy Queen, Calgary Stampede Food Services, Eaton's (now defunct), Coles Bookstore, The Real Canadian Superstore, HomeSense, and Delta Airlines. This diverse experience has undoubtedly equipped him with strong customer service skills and the ability to adapt to various work environments.

Beyond customer service, Ken possesses a talent for technology. He is comfortable writing code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are fundamental building blocks for web development. Additionally, his proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications showcases his well-rounded computer skills. Faith in God

In 2017, Ken embraced his faith and was baptized as a Roman Catholic. He finds solace and purpose in his religion. Ken’s fascination extends to the rich tapestry of biblical history and its profound influence on modern civilization. He holds the conviction that science and religion are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary forces.

Loves Calgary Sports Team

A true Calgarian at heart, Ken bleeds Calgary. He's a fervent supporter of the Calgary Flames (NHL), Calgary Stampeders (CFL), Calgary Surge (CEBL) and the Cavalry FC (CPL), cheering on any team that represents his city.
